
This time I will teach them how to connect their Macs to the internet via the iPhone with firmware 3.1.2. In other words they'll teach you to configure tethering for iPhone firmware 3.1.2 from Mac OS X. The process is super simple, this time to make things easier we have included an explanatory video, which will see after the jump.
The procedure for configuring an iPhone with firmware 3.1.2 from Mac OS X is done in 3 easy steps, as shown below.
If for some reason, it appears that you followed all the steps and does not work, and it leaves you see the blue bar at the top of the iPhone or your computer is not connected to internet, then you must make sure your machine has THROUGH valid IP address of the iPhone. To verify this you can simply go to System Preferences> Network (System Preferences> Network) on your Mac, select the connection from iPhone and verify if it looks like that shown in the picture above.
If no IP address then you must restart the process again.
